LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari mocked Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid upon touching the feet of Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly (NA) Syed Khurshid Shah after the former went to Shah’s chamber to discuss the appointment of members of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday.
The picture making rounds on the social media shows that Pervaiz Rasheed is touching the legs of Khursheed Shah as a token of respect. The minister, who often makes fun and comes up with hard hitting criticism on the opposition, soon became a centre of discussion on Facebook.
Bilawal tweeted that whenever the ruling party feels threatened, it shows respect to others by touching their feet, adding that when out of danger they then aim for the neck.

Pervaiz Rashid went to the opposition leader’s chamber to have discussion upon the appointment of ECP members. Khurshid stated that the matter needs to be resolved at the earliest as a number of important cases shall be left unaddressed as a result of the absence of the members.
