QUETTA: Families of those killed in Shah Noorani shrine attack in Balochistan will receive a compensation amount of Rs 500,000, Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif announced on Sunday.
During a dhamaal – a trance-like dance – a suicide bomberer exploded himself, killing at least 53 people at the shrine in Khuzdar district.
For those who were severely injured in the attack, The PM announced Rs 200,000.
Musaddiq Malik and Miftah Ismail have been directed by the PM to personally visit the Civil Hospital in Karachi and present the amount to the victims.
